Shift: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm

Job Purpose:

Under the direction of the Fleet Support Manager, the Fleet Support Coordinator works with dealership personnel, outside repair facilities, and customers to assist with fleet management and to maximize customer uptime and costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Honor Commitment:

  • Manage the repair process on assigned fleets to maximize customer uptime, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction and minimizing disruptions to their operations.
  • Work with lease and rental customers, the JX lease and rental fleet maintenance team, the used truck team, and certain external fleets to coordinate and assist with required service or repairs.
  • Assist in dealers and customers with warranty repairs, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of warranty claims.
  • Invoice and review repair orders, adhering to industry standards and company expectations, fulfilling administrative responsibilities and ensuring accurate billing practices.
  • Work with support personnel to ensure timely reconditioning, demonstrating commitment to internal and external customers.
  • Participate in on-call weekend breakdown call management, showing commitment to service availability.

Create Positive Experiences:

  • Assist dealership personnel and customers with breakdown assistance and customer support issues, providing timely and helpful support in critical situations.
  • Educate dealer staff and customers on remote diagnostic systems, empowering them with knowledge and tools to improve fleet maintenance.

Foster Life-Long Learning:

  • Monitor diagnostic systems (Smartlinq) for select fleets, utilizing technology to proactively identify potential issues and optimize fleet performance.
  • Review repair orders, issue purchase orders, review invoices, and research unit repair history to continuously improve understanding and management of repairs.

Exhibit Pioneering Spirit:

  • Proactively address challenges related to diagnostics and repair processes, seeking innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Demonstrate Good Stewardship:

  • Collaborate effectively with dealership personnel, customers, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct analysis and make recommendations on repairs to manage costs effectively.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment when providing on-site
  • Support, conducting training or meeting with customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years of related work experience required.
  • 3-5 years experience as a technician or Service Advisor in a heavy duty truck environment.
  • Intermediate Google Apps skills required
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently are required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and the general public.
  • Ability to effectively and professionally interact with customers, co-workers, and vendors to achieve optimal results.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
