Warehouse Specialist - International Shipper in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at S3 AeroDefense LLC

Purpose of the Job:

The International Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating and processing international shipments of aircraft parts while ensuring compliance with aviation and export regulations.

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare shipping documents (commercial invoices, air waybills, export declarations, etc).
• Scanning, digitizing, and attaching related documents to inventory control management system
• Verify part numbers, serial numbers, and certification documents (FAA 8130-3, EASA Form 1, etc).
• Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, and other export regulations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers. (Experience with UPS, Fed Ex, and DHL a plus)
• Package aircraft parts according to industry standards.
• Track shipments and maintain accurate records in ERP systems.
• Resolve shipping or customs issues as needed.
• Locating, picking, checking, staging, assembling, packaging, labeling, and preparing customer orders for shipment
• Performing quality inspection prior to shipment

• Basic computer knowledge
• 1-2 years of shipping experience (international preferred)
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
• Hazmat experience preferred
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure

Training:

• Pentagon (company software) Basics
• Export & ITAR Compliance
• Aerospace Industry Quality Training (Which includes QMS training, FAA 00 56, Traceability, 8130-3 documents, PAH’s, ESD, Suspected unapproved Parts, Shelf Life/LLP’s, AD’s, ATA Spec 300, PMA
• Forklift experience
• S3 Hazmat training
• Other Trainings as assigned
• 90 Day Probation OJT
