Financial Analyst, Performance Partnership

The Financial Analyst, Performance Partnership will support performance improvement initiatives by analyzing customer operations, identifying optimization opportunities, and tracking outcomes against strategic goals. Working in a collaborative, data-driven environment, this position partners with cross-functional teams and customers to improve efficiency, resource allocation, and financial performance. Accountabilities:

The Financial Analyst, Performance Partnership will support performance improvement programs by analyzing financial data, developing reporting frameworks, and helping customers achieve measurable results through data-driven recommendations.

  • Analyze and reconstruct customer financial statements, including units of service and resource utilization, to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly KPI reporting, highlighting significant variances and connecting program actions to measurable performance improvements.
  • Maintain and enhance benchmarking capabilities to compare performance metrics across relevant peer groups.
  • Support customers in developing financial pro formas to evaluate capital investments, resource allocation, growth opportunities, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and support activity-based costing models to improve resource management and track operational performance.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear insights, recommendations, and business strategies for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in finance, analytics, and performance improvement, with experience applying financial insights to healthcare or operational environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare finance or a related analytical role.
  • Experience coordinating annual budgets, forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex financial and operational data.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and tracking KPIs to measure business performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and operational optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel approximately 15% and maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in clinical laboratory operations or healthcare service environments.
  • Experience developing financial pro formas for large-scale or complex investments.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations such as revenue cycle, supply chain, or quality improvement initiatives.
Benefits:
