This position is located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Temecula CA. We are in the heart of Southern California’s beautiful Temecula Valley, known for its award-winning wineries, vibrant Old Town, and strong sense of community. Our hotel sits just minutes from shopping, dining, entertainment, and outdoor recreation, offering team members the perfect balance between work and lifestyle. Temecula provides 172 room suites that are welcoming, family-friendly environment with easy access to major freeways for easy commute.
WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
Our hotel runs best when every system, surface, and space is in top condition — and that takes someone who truly knows their craft. As a Skilled Engineer, you're not just fixing problems; you're the technical backbone of the property. You bring experience, precision, and leadership to the Engineering team, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes so our guests never have to think twice about their comfort. You'll also be the person junior Engineers look to for guidance — and that matters a lot here.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Keep the hotel in excellent condition by performing advanced maintenance across painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems.
- Serve as a hands-on trainer and mentor for junior Engineers — sharing your knowledge, setting the standard, and building team capability.
- Monitor building standards compliance among Engineers II & III and flag any concerns to the Chief Engineer.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest and management maintenance requests, documenting all work completed.
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment, including filter replacements, and monitor furnace, boiler, and air conditioning systems.
- Identify and report the need for major repairs or equipment upgrades to Engineering leadership.
- Execute projects and assignments as directed, completing work competently and on time.
- Represent Windsor Hospitality's values — Growth, Resourcefulness, Integrity, and Teamwork (GRIT) — in every interaction.
SKILLS & ABILITIES YOU BRING
- Hands-on experience across multiple maintenance trade areas — plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, or similar.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to work to precise measurements and established standards.
- Confidence reading and applying work orders, specifications, and technical instructions.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, push, and move materials and equipment; ability to climb ladders and work at height safely.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A calm, professional approach when interacting with guests and teammates.
- A natural inclination to share what you know and help others grow.
WHAT WE OFFER
Join a team that invests in you! We're proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to support the well-being and growth of all our eligible employees:
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability Insurance — Quality healthcare plans for eligible employees to stay healthy and protected.
- Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) — Pre-tax savings for healthcare and dependent care expenses.

- Career Growth Opportunities — We promote from within and invest in your long-term success.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) — Take the time to relax, recharge, and enjoy life outside of work.
- Paid Sick Leave — Supportive sick time policy so you can care for your health when you need it.
- Exclusive Employee Hotel Discounts — Special rates across our brand portfolio for you, your family, and friends.
- Complimentary On-Shift Meals (participating hotels) — Enjoy a free meal provided during each scheduled shift.
- Recognition & Rewards Program — Associates are acknowledged through performance awards, milestone celebrations, and incentive programs.
