The VP, Corporate Engineering will lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of enterprise technology capabilities, ensuring internal platforms and automation solutions scale effectively with business growth. This role combines technical leadership, organizational development, and strategic partnership across corporate functions.
- Define and execute the long-term strategy for corporate engineering, enterprise systems, automation platforms, and business technology initiatives.
- Lead AI-driven transformation efforts by identifying opportunities to improve workflows, productivity, and decision-making across corporate functions.
- Build and evolve a world-class engineering organization composed of software engineers, business systems specialists, program managers, administrators, and data professionals.
- Establish technical standards, governance frameworks, and operational practices across enterprise applications and automation ecosystems.
- Oversee the architecture and evolution of major business platforms, including enterprise workflow, HR, finance, legal, and operational systems.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to develop strategic roadmaps that improve business efficiency, employee experience, and organizational scalability.
- Drive enterprise modernization initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies and implementing innovative solutions.
- Develop, mentor, and empower engineering leaders while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, IT, and business teams to maximize technology impact and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Champion responsible AI adoption, experimentation, and governance across corporate technology functions.
The ideal candidate is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in enterprise systems, engineering leadership, and digital transformation. They should have demonstrated success building scalable technology organizations and partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant experience leading and scaling multidisciplinary engineering, business systems, or enterprise technology organizations.
- Deep expertise with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Workday, Workato, or similar business-critical systems.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise technology modernization and large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and practical experience applying generative AI solutions to improve business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to create technical strategies, operating models, and execution roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Experience partnering with C-level and executive stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching managers, developing teams, and building inclusive high-performing cultures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction, feedback, and recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Experience leading workflow automation, integrations, and platform engineering initiatives within a high-growth technology environment.
- Preferred experience with enterprise AI platforms, Centers of Excellence, SaaS organizations, or early-career software engineering experience.
- Competitive annual cash compensation range of $363,420 – $581,445 USD.
