The Traducteur(trice)-réviseur(e) will be responsible for translating, adapting, and reviewing financial and marketing content while ensuring linguistic excellence, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards.
- Translate, adapt, and transcreate financial, investment, and marketing documents intended for French-speaking audiences, including client communications, digital content, campaigns, videos, thought leadership materials, and internal communications.
- Ensure translated content accurately conveys the intended message while reflecting the appropriate tone, style, and brand identity.
- Review translations produced internally or by external providers to ensure quality, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with linguistic standards.
- Revise and enhance French-language content to improve clarity, readability, fluency, and overall effectiveness.
- Perform proofreading and final approval of documents intended for print, websites, digital platforms, and other communication channels.
- Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and guidance to colleagues to support continuous improvement of linguistic quality.
- Manage multiple priorities and complex projects while maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Use and maintain translation memories, terminology databases, computer-assisted translation tools, AI-supported translation solutions, and editorial guidelines.
- Conduct terminology and research activities to support accurate, high-quality translations and revisions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand communication objectives and ensure optimal results.
- Contribute to process improvements and support service commitments through efficient and effective workflows.
- Work closely with team members on large-scale, urgent, or complex projects.
- Apply risk awareness and compliance considerations when managing daily activities and decisions.

The ideal candidate combines advanced translation expertise, strong financial communication skills, and the ability to adapt content for different audiences and channels.
- 10+ years of relevant professional translation experience, ideally within financial services, wealth management, or asset management environments.
- 2+ years of professional revision experience in a corporate setting.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in translation.
- Excellent French writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone, style, and messaging for different audiences.
- Proven expertise in financial translation and adaptation of marketing and promotional materials.
- Native-level proficiency in Canadian French and Quebec French, with excellent command of Canadian English.
- Experience using computer-assisted translation tools, AI-supported translation technologies, terminology management systems, and project management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong adaptability, flexibility, and attention to detail.
- Professional translation certification (OTTIAQ, ATIO, or equivalent) is an asset.
- Experience translating videos, digital content, and promotional materials is an advantage.
- Financial training or certifications, such as Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or equivalent, are considered an asset.
