Job Description
This critical role provides significant business development expertise and actively promotes new business initiatives on behalf of Applied Composites. Maintains primary responsibility for new business opportunities and oversees all phases of business development to ensure business and financial objectives are attained. The ideal candidate will have established relationships with major aerospace defense primes.

Job Accountabilities:
• Oversees all phases of business development to ensure business and financial goals are attained
• Plans, facilitates and/or establishes high-value contracts for solutions and/or services to produce revenue
• Maintains effective customer relationships with key senior-level decision makers, aligning the customer's requirements with the organization's solutions
• Provides significant business development expertise to actively promote new business initiatives on behalf of Applied Composite
• Provides research to identify opportunities and the decision makers and influencers who are important for contracting new business
• In addition to leading strategy and business development for assigned accounts, serves as the account leader, providing program management support, contract review and dispute/claims resolution
• Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Specifications:
Education: Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience Years’ Experience: 10 years or more of relevant experience
Skills:
• Significant business development expertise with complex products and/or regulated industries
• Strong financial acumen
• Strong leadership and effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to solve complex problems, taking a new perspective on existing solutions and exercising judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and database management tools
