Housekeeper – Hickory Treatment Centers
Department: Housekeeping
Direct Report To: Housekeeping Supervisor
Job Type: Full Time
Shift Schedule: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
The Housekeeper is the primary sanitary member of the administrative team, assuring cleanliness in all public areas and client rooms.
Under the immediate supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean environment including common areas and clients’ rooms

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
- Professional demeanor and understanding of appropriate boundaries in a healthcare setting
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow detailed instructions
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
- Satisfactory background check, OIG exclusion screening, and professional references
General Cleaning and Sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas, including client rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
- Perform Sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, waste removal, and other daily housekeeping tasks
- Follow infection control protocols and all sanitation procedures
- Comply with facility, state, and Joint Commission standards for cleanliness and safety
Laundry & Linen management
- Manage client laundry on a rotating schedule
Equipment & Supplies
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently
Safety & Reporting
- Report any maintenance concerns or safety hazard to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly
Professional Conduct
- Maintain respectful, professional interactions with clients and staff
$14.00-$16.00 hourly
