This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Account Executive, Great Plains based in United States.
This role combines new business development with strategic account management across the Great Plains region. You will identify and close programmatic advertising opportunities with agencies and brands while expanding relationships with existing customers. The position requires a strong understanding of client objectives and the ability to connect those needs with effective digital advertising solutions. You will partner closely with Account Managers, product teams, and sales leadership to drive revenue and strengthen customer relationships. As part of a remote-first, regionally organized sales team, you will have autonomy while remaining closely connected to cross-functional colleagues. The role offers the opportunity to influence campaign strategies, grow a regional client portfolio, and contribute to a rapidly evolving advertising technology environment.
- Identify, prospect, pitch, and close platform sales opportunities with local agencies and brands across the assigned Great Plains territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for account expansion, renewals, and additional revenue.
- Partner with dedicated Account Managers to develop campaign strategies and present relevant advertising solutions that support customer objectives.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring consistent opportunity management and ongoing client engagement.
- Develop compelling client pitch decks and supporting research to communicate solutions and support new business acquisition.
- Collaborate with management and product teams to provide market and customer feedback that can inform product development and positioning.
- Serve as a trusted commercial partner to clients, understanding their longer-term business goals and identifying opportunities for deeper collaboration.
- Travel occasionally within the assigned region to meet with clients and strengthen customer relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in digital advertising sales, with programmatic advertising experience considered a strong advantage.
- Proven track record of success in a quota-carrying sales environment, including experience generating and closing new business.
- Experience managing client relationships and using CRM platforms to build pipelines, identify opportunities, support renewals, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Strong experience creating client-facing pitch decks, conducting relevant research, and translating customer needs into compelling sales proposals.
- Ability to understand and clearly communicate technical concepts, advertising platforms, and digital marketing solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Collaborative and commercially minded approach, with the ability to work effectively with Account Management, Product, Sales, and leadership teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients across the assigned regional territory.
- Candidates located in Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas, Arkansas, North Dakota, or South Dakota are prioritized for this role.
- Base salary range of $92,000–$126,500 USD, with final compensation determined by experience, skills, education, certifications, and other business considerations.
- Potential eligibility for additional compensation, including commissions, annual bonuses, and equity awards depending on the role and employment terms.
