Maintenance Technician

Pay: $21$29/hr (DOE)
Schedule: MondayFriday, 5:30 AM 2:30 PM
Location: Hendersonville, NC

Were hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for a short-term temporary role. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working hands-on, and keeping production running smoothly. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and packaging equipment to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.

Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems
Work with motors, pumps, HMIs, PLCs, and control systems
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment upgrades
Support production with setups, adjustments, and changeovers
Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate issues
Assist with equipment rebuilds and improvement projects
Train operators on equipment use as needed
Follow all safety, GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment

Qualifications:
High school diploma or vocational training required
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
Food manufacturing experience preferred
Strong ability to read schematics, manuals, and diagrams
Solid troubleshooting and decision-making skills
Experience working with electrical systems up to 480V

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently (100 lbs occasionally)
Frequent bending, climbing, reaching, and standing
Comfortable working at heights (up to 50 ft with PPE)
Able to work in varying temperatures and environments
Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting
