Description:

Coordinates the talent acquisition, recruitment, and on-boarding activities requiring high touch, high service methods in compliance with the Human Resources department policy and procedures. Provides support to the Recruitment team, hiring managers, internal and external customers and colleagues.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist with and coordinates recruitment process which includes applicant tracking, assessment, testing, screening, sourcing, communication of information & systems access

· With moderate supervision provides recruitment services to assigned departments, positions and/or hiring managers.

· Schedules pre-screens and interviews, health appointments, and candidate travel logistics.

· Coordinates interview process, new hire onboarding process, new hire orientation, off boarding and completion of files.

· Resolves general issues related to recruitment process and procedure. Refer high level issues to appropriate team members for resolution.

· Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, payroll questions, and workplace concerns.

· Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records.

· Assist with employee relations matters and workplace investigations.

· Partner with managers regarding performance management, attendance, disciplinary actions, and employee development.

· Administer and explain company policies, procedures, and employee programs.

· Assist with benefits administration and employee benefit questions.

· Support leave administration, including FMLA and other applicable leaves.

· Assist with performance review processes and employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required. One to three years of experience in Recruitment, Employment, or HR role with increased responsibilities in a hospital environment.
  • General knowledge of industry best practices, processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in utilizing human resource technology such as (HRIS, applicant tracking systems).
  • Excellent telephone communication skills, including strong listening and comprehension skills. Attention to detail and strong customer service experience.
  • Excellent human relations and interpersonal skills. Strong analytic, problem solving and judgment skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload. Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet established deadlines and, with composure, work in a fast-paced pressured work environment.
  • Ability to effectively interact with various functional areas, variety of service lines and all levels of organizational staff.
  • Ability to work independently and with moderate supervision.
  • PC experience and demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Windows or related computer software. Good keyboarding skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of Community First Medical Center.
