Pride Plumbing is seeking an experienced Service Plumber to join the Pride Team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, inspecting, repairing, and replacing plumbing systems while providing clear, professional communication to clients. The Service Plumber is expected to complete work to applicable plumbing codes and company standards while supporting safety, productivity, customer service, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Perform plumbing repairs and replacements in accordance with applicable plumbing codes.
- Solder and perform the work necessary to complete customer plumbing projects.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems and clearly explain findings and available options to the client.
- Perform thorough and accurate plumbing inspections and communicate findings to the client.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation legibly and accurately.
- Perform calculations required for plumbing work and invoicing.
- Request and collect customer payment as required.
- Follow all company safety standards and processes.
- Communicate the benefits of club memberships to clients.
- Meet established performance standards, including callback ratio, average ticket, productivity, club membership conversion, and accurate Good, Better, Best pricing calculations.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and accurately inventoried company truck.
- Supervise apprentices and participate in training new employees.
- Continue training and development to support professional growth.
- Perform as a team player and complete other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Experienced service plumber with the ability to independently perform plumbing repairs, replacements, inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow applicable state plumbing codes.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients.
- Ability to read a map and travel to customer locations.
- Ability to complete plumbing and invoicing calculations.
- Ability to work additional hours and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance, arrive on time, and comply with company uniform and customer-home protection standards.

- Strong plumbing troubleshooting, diagnostic, inspection, repair, and replacement skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to explain plumbing problems, options, pricing, and membership benefits clearly.
- Ability to supervise apprentices and support employee training.
- Strong attention to detail in documentation, calculations, inventory, and work quality.
- Ability to work independently while contributing as a team member.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in close spaces.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including in inclement weather and temperature extremes.
- Typical schedule is approximately 40 hours per week, with additional hours required during on-call rotation or when necessary to finish work in progress.
- Daily hours may vary; the source posting identifies a typical schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Must be available for on-call rotation.
- $20.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Full-time, hourly position.
- Bonus opportunities based on club membership sales, scoreboard standing, and product sales.
- Drug and alcohol testing may be performed prior to employment and at random during employment without advance notice.
- Motor vehicle record checks will be performed when the position includes access to a company vehicle.
