This role sits at the core of a fast-growing, data-driven organization where analytics directly shapes product development, operational efficiency, and intelligent automation within the claims ecosystem. You will be responsible for building and evolving the foundational data model that powers reporting, analytics, and machine-driven decision-making. Working closely with engineering, product, and operations teams, you will translate complex claims workflows into structured, reliable, and scalable data systems. This is a highly technical and collaborative role requiring strong analytical thinking, precision, and the ability to bridge business context with data architecture. You will contribute directly to the development of a modern semantic layer that enables deeper insights and automation across the organization. The environment is fast-paced, experimental, and highly iterative, with significant influence on both technical direction and data strategy. - Design, build, and maintain scalable data models using modern tools to support analytics, reporting, and machine-driven insights.
- Develop and enhance the semantic layer that powers business intelligence tools and internal data products.
- Translate end-to-end claims lifecycle processes into structured, high-quality datasets in collaboration with product and operations teams.
- Integrate new data sources into the data ecosystem while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and performance of existing pipelines.
- Use SQL and Python to analyze large datasets, generate insights, and develop robust analytical frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and operations stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Document specifications, methodologies, and data logic with clarity for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- 6–8 years of experience as a data analyst or analytics engineer with strong exposure to statistical analysis and modern data tooling.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (Postgres, BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar) and experience working with large-scale structured datasets.
- Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
- Experience building and maintaining robust data models and analytical frameworks in fast-paced environments.
- Proven ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality data analysis and insights at a consistent, high cadence.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize competing requirements and define clear data solutions.
