Job Description
Air Force One is seeking a Controller to be located in our Dublin, OH office. The Controller is responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation for 2 corporate entities. Ensures policies and procedures are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements. Establishes and maintains internal controls to support the financial infrastructure. This individual will see a growth path to the CFO position.
Required Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Compensation: $130,000 - 160,000 + bonus commensurate based on skills and experience
Required Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
- CPA with 2+ years in public accounting preferred. CMA desired.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Prefer experience with an organization that has multiple sites & companies
- Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
- Economics and Accounting — Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
- Complex Problem Solving — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Operations Analysis — Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design.
- Systems Analysis — Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Desired Computer / Software Knowledge:- Manage multi-company accounting operations including financial reporting, A/R, A/P, Payroll, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Coordinate and prepare budgets, financials, forecasts, and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely consolidated financial statements
- Manage month-end and year-end close process
- Lead and develop a team of 4 employees, with opportunities to expand the team as business growth continues.
- Maintain all BS accrual schedules
- Monthly KPI Reporting
- Asset and Depreciation Management
- Bank Reconciliations
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, federal, CAT, and Sales & Use tax requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Assist with acquisitions
- Assist CFO as needed
- Special Projects as needed
- Microsoft Word (Intermediate)
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced). Ability to create formulas, pivot tables, import/export to and from databases.
- Microsoft Access (Intermediate). Ability to create queries and reports.
- Microsoft Office 365
- Power BI
- Accounting Software (Sampro, Workday, Sage Intacct, etc.)
- Planning Maestro
- Salesforce
