Lead strategic programs that strengthen partnerships and deliver excellence!

At Loeb Electric, we’re more than an electrical distributor—we’re a trusted partner driving progress in the construction and facilities industry. Guided by our values—People, Trust, Commitment, Innovation—we deliver solutions that keep businesses moving forward. If you’re ready to lead, innovate, and make an impact, this is your opportunity.

Your Role and Purpose:

The Program Manager, Key Accounts is responsible for the strategic oversight, execution, and continuous improvement of programs for major national accounts. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and customer satisfaction by managing program-level initiatives, driving performance metrics, and fostering strong client relationships. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Projects, Maintenance, Estimating, Accounting, and Sales—to deliver seamless execution and measurable results.

This role is accountable for project execution, financial performance, and customer outcomes across assigned programs. Associate Managers are accountable for team performance, development, and consistency, while Planning, Estimating, and Vendor Operations leadership are accountable for upstream readiness and vendor network performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Execution Leadership and Accountability
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned key accounts and programs.
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes for program delivery, reporting, and performance benchmarking.
  • This role provides execution guidance and performance input but does not own formal people management responsibilities.
  • Own execution outcomes across assigned programs, including delivery timelines, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to ensure program success.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key account stakeholders.
    • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and communicate them to the internal sales team.
    • Prepare and deliver clear documentation and reporting for clients and internal teams.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Forecast material, logistics, labor, and financial needs; ensure alignment across internal teams.
    • Own program-level financial performance, including margin management, forecasting, cost control, and billing accuracy.
    • Use data analytics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
    • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Manage vendor performance during project execution, including issue resolution and escalation, while partnering with Vendor Operations leadership on vendor selection, availability, and long-term performance management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Program success metrics (on-time delivery, budget adherence).
  • Customer satisfaction scores.
  • Internal and external reporting accuracy.
  • Identification and conversion of additional sales opportunities.
  • Project financial performance (margin and cost control)
  • Execution issue resolution and escalation timeliness

What You’ll Bring:

  • Ability to lead complex, multi-location programs with confidence—planning, sequencing, and executing work to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
  • Skilled at building trust and maintaining strong relationships with key account stakeholders; able to anticipate needs and deliver proactive solutions.
  • Comfortable using analytics, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor performance, identify trends, and implement improvements.
  • Strong ability to design and follow standardized processes, ensuring compliance and flawless execution across all program phases.
  • Adept at identifying potential risks early, developing mitigation strategies, and resolving escalations quickly and professionally.
  • Ability to work seamlessly with internal teams—Projects, Maintenance, Estimating, Accounting, and Sales—to align priorities and remove friction.
  • Passion for identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and driving measurable improvements in program delivery.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to produce clear documentation, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and lead impactful meetings.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Be part of a company that powers innovation and values People, Trust, Commitment, and Innovation.
  • Work on high-impact national projects that shape the electrical and lighting industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and top-tier vendors to deliver excellence.
  • Enjoy a culture that encourages continuous improvement, professional growth, and technology-driven solutions.
  • Competitive benefits, opportunities for career advancement, and a team that celebrates success.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • PMP or CAPM certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience managing programs or projects in construction or electrical industry.
  • Approximately 10-20% travel is required.
