Position SummaryTampa Family Health Centers is seeking a Call Center Scheduling Coordinator to support our call center operations. This role is responsible for managing inbound calls, scheduling patient appointments, routing messages, and ensuring accurate documentation within the Electronic Health Record.

Essential Responsibilities- Answer and route incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
- Enter and update patient demographic information in the Electronic Health Record
- Route messages to the appropriate health centers, departments, and staff
- Provide high-quality customer service to patients, callers, and internal team members
- Follow call center procedures, workflows, and scripting guidelines
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and TFHC policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience in a healthcare, call center, or high-volume environment preferred
- Prior experience in a medical, dental, or healthcare setting preferred
- Experience using an Electronic Health Record system preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and patient-focused during high call volumes
- Familiarity with medical or dental terminology preferred
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record systems and Microsoft Office preferred
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
