Job Description
Sixense, Inc. is looking for an Instrumentation Technician to strengthen their capacity to deploy structural and geotechnical Instrumentation. The Instrumentation Technician will prepare, install, and maintain monitoring systems with the support of the local team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary:
Performs various operational accounting and clerical tasks. Willingness to collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations in the accounting department.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential Functions:
- Process weekly payroll in ADP and interface to accounting software.
- Assist office manager with certified payroll reporting, as needed.
- Maintain and manage employee expenses.
- Process weekly employee expenses and accounts payable payment runs.
- Purchasing Card Administrator - maintain list of cardholders and limits, process weekly import to accounting systems.
- Set-up new projects in multiple systems - Harmony, ADP purchase card software.
- Process Bak Deposits.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Reconcile simple general ledger accounts.
- Assist in completing simple tax returns - use tax, property tax, misc.
- Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by Controller.
Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent preferred.
- 3+ years of payroll, accounts payable, accounts experience.
- Construction or Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
Soft Skill Requirements
- Must possess intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to productively participate, learn and share knowledge as part of a team.
- Must be responsible and work well independently or in a team setting with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Reaching high adn low, stooping, and bending continually.
- Lift, carry, pull and push at least 40 pounds
Mental Requirements:
- Converse effectively using both verbal and written communication.
- Rational decision-making ability.
- Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities as needed.
