Job Description

Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office & HR Administrator to oversee the daily administrative, accounting, payroll, and human resources functions of our growing company. This individual will play a key role in ensuring smooth office operations while supporting financial processes, employee administration, and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, able to manage multiple priorities, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.


ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
  • Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and collections.
  • Process Accounts Payable and vendor payments.
  • Prepare and make bank deposits.
  • Maintain accurate job costing and job tracking records.
  • Manage lien waivers and related documentation.
Payroll & Compliance
  • Process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Prepare certified payroll reports.
  • Administer Paid Time Off (PTO) requests.
  • Coordinate pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable payroll and labor regulations.
Human Resources
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding.
  • Administer employee benefits.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation.
  • Perform annual employee reviews.
Office & Operations
  • Update and maintain equipment insurance records.
  • Manage company GPS systems and equipment tracking.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for IT vendors and technology support.
  • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, office management, payroll, or administrative operations.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Knowledge of certified payroll reporting is preferred.
  • Experience in the construction, agriculture, or related industries is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Quickbooks and accounting/payroll software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
