Sr Financial Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Financial Analyst based in United States.

This role sits at the center of financial planning and business decision support, translating complex data into clear insights that guide strategy and performance. You will own forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis while helping leaders understand what is driving results across key business lines. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, requiring close partnership with finance, accounting, and operational teams. You will build and refine financial models and reporting tools that improve visibility and planning accuracy across the organization. Accountabilities:

Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and strategic decision support, ensuring accuracy and business relevance through the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting, dashboards, and executive-level presentations
  • Perform detailed variance analysis across actuals, forecasts, and budgets, identifying key drivers and trends
  • Develop and enhance financial models, scenario planning tools, and business cases to support strategic initiatives
  • Partner with finance, accounting, and business leaders to align assumptions and improve planning accuracy
  • Support annual budgeting cycles, forecast updates, and ad hoc financial analysis requests
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Maintain data integrity while improving reporting processes, tools, and analytical efficiency
Requirements:

This role requires strong analytical capability, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate insights effectively across stakeholders, supported by the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar business finance role
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis
  • Ability to interpret large and complex datasets and translate them into business insights
  • Experience preparing executive reporting, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership
  • Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to financial systems and BI/reporting tools
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar analytics platforms
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills with cross-functional collaboration experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
