VP, AI Services

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, AI Services based in Canada.

This is a senior executive opportunity leading the design and scaling of AI-powered IT Service Management offerings within a global, fully remote professional services environment. The role sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, enterprise ITSM, and ServiceNow ecosystem leadership, with full ownership of strategy, delivery, and commercial outcomes. You will define how AI is embedded into IT operations for enterprise clients, translating complex operational challenges into scalable, repeatable service offerings. Acting as both a strategic advisor and hands-on leader, you will engage directly with C-level stakeholders to shape transformation roadmaps and drive measurable business impact. The role also involves building and scaling a high-performing practice, including methodologies, talent, and delivery frameworks. This is a highly visible position where success is measured by revenue growth, client outcomes, and the maturity of the AI services portfolio.

Accountabilities

Lead the AI Services practice by defining vision, strategy, and P&L ownership, ensuring the development of a scalable and revenue-generating AI-driven ITSM offering.

  • Design and evolve repeatable AI-enabled ITSM service offerings across Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, and Knowledge Management processes
  • Define go-to-market strategy, pricing models, and packaging in collaboration with sales and marketing teams
  • Build internal accelerators, playbooks, and AI-powered assets (including ServiceNow-based solutions) to reduce time-to-value for clients
  • Act as executive advisor to enterprise clients, engaging C-level stakeholders to assess maturity and define AI transformation roadmaps
  • Lead discovery workshops, ROI analysis, and business case development for AI and automation initiatives
  • Oversee ServiceNow AI delivery capabilities including Now Assist, Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, ITOM AIOps, and generative AI integrations
  • Establish governance, KPIs, and quality standards for AI-enhanced ITSM delivery across client environments
  • Build and lead multidisciplinary teams of AI architects, ServiceNow experts, and ITSM consultants
  • Develop partnerships within the ServiceNow ecosystem and evaluate complementary AI and AIOps technologies
  • Represent the practice externally as a thought leader in AI-driven IT operations transformation
Requirements

This role requires extensive leadership experience in IT services, with deep expertise in AI, ServiceNow, and enterprise ITSM environments.

  • 10+ years of experience in IT services, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles within MSPs, systems integrators, or consulting firms
  • Proven track record of building or scaling ITSM, ServiceNow, or AI-focused service practices
  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platforms such as ITSM, ITOM, Virtual Agent, or Now Assist at an architectural or delivery leadership level
  • Deep knowledge of ITIL v4 frameworks and best practices in service management
  • Experience applying AI, machine learning, or automation within enterprise IT operations environments
  • Strong P&L ownership experience, including revenue, margin, and operational performance accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives and enterprise stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, IT operations, and service delivery governance
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-growth environments while managing multiple priorities
