Robot Service Technician Assistant
Location: Baltimore, MD
Work Environment: On-site / In-person
Pay Rate: $23–$25 per hour
Employment Type: Part-time Contract
Schedule: Saturday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
About the Role
We are looking to hire a motivated, entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to maintain, troubleshoot, and prepare autonomous delivery robots for daily operations at Towson University.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in robotics, mechanical maintenance, and electro-mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, inspect, clean, and maintain delivery robots.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and troubleshooting.
- Manage battery charging and equipment readiness.
- Assist with sensor calibration, wheel alignment, and software or hardware updates.
- Support remote technical teams and maintain an organized workshop.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer literacy and good communication skills.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds safely.
- Availability for weekend day shifts.
- Automotive repair, electronics, robotics, or technician experience is preferred.
- Relevant technical students and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
