Job Description

Video Producer / Video Content Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Video Producer / Video Content Manager based in Germany.

This role offers the opportunity to transform video into a powerful growth channel for a global digital product with a large and engaged audience.
You will own the full video production ecosystem, from strategy and scripting to publishing, optimization, and performance analysis.
The position combines creative production, project management, audience growth, and data-driven experimentation.
You will build scalable workflows, collaborate with freelance talent, and maximize the impact of every piece of content across multiple platforms.
Working in a fully remote and asynchronous environment, you will have the autonomy to shape strategy and deliver measurable results.
This opportunity is ideal for a producer who understands that successful video requires both creative excellence and strong operational systems.

Accountabilities:

As a Video Producer / Video Content Manager, you will be responsible for owning the video strategy and production pipeline from concept to performance analysis. You will combine creative judgment, operational expertise, and data insights to grow video channels and create content that drives engagement and business impact.

  • Own the end-to-end video production process, including strategy, scripting, production coordination, publishing, and optimization.
  • Create video scripts designed specifically for audience retention, spoken delivery, and platform performance.
  • Build and manage a network of freelance presenters, providing briefs, feedback, and guidance to ensure high-quality output.
  • Coordinate external video editors, evaluate creative quality, and provide clear direction to keep production workflows efficient.
  • Develop systems that maximize the value of each production by creating multiple content formats across YouTube, TikTok, social media, advertising, and product-related channels.
  • Own video channel strategies, including content planning, publishing schedules, audience growth initiatives, and format experimentation.
  • Manage video SEO through optimized titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and metadata to improve reach and engagement.
  • Use analytics platforms to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and make data-driven content decisions.
  • Analyze metrics such as click-through rates, watch time, and retention curves to improve future videos.
  • Test and optimize hooks, introductions, structures, and content formats to increase audience engagement.
  • Explore new video opportunities, including webinars, product demonstrations, short-form content, and performance advertising creatives.
Requirements:

You are an experienced video professional with a strong understanding of content strategy, production systems, and audience growth. You combine creative storytelling skills with analytical thinking and thrive in an autonomous remote environment where you can own projects from idea to measurable results.

  • 5+ years of experience in video production, video marketing, or content creation, preferably with educational, technical, or product-focused content.
  • Proven experience growing a video channel or contributing significantly to channel growth, supported by measurable performance results.
  • Strong scriptwriting skills with the ability to create engaging content designed for video consumption.
  • Producer mindset with experience building scalable workflows rather than managing individual video projects only.
  • Experience managing remote freelancers, including presenters, editors, or creative partners.
  • Strong understanding of video analytics and the ability to use data to improve content performance.
  • Ability to analyze performance challenges, such as low click-through rates or audience drop-off, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Strong visual judgment with an understanding of thumbnails, pacing, editing quality, and audience engagement.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment with strong ownership and organization skills.
  • Comfortable using analytics tools and content platforms to guide strategic decisions.
  • Bonus: Video editing skills for quick-turnaround content production.
  • Bonus: Experience creating content in crypto, fintech, technology, or other technical industries.
  • Bonus: Experience producing video ads, performance creatives, or localized content for multiple markets.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work environment across Europe.
  • Flexible schedule with an asynchronous working culture.
  • 32 days of paid time off.
  • High level of autonomy and ownership over your work.
  • Opportunity to work within a rapidly growing technology industry.
  • Chance to build and scale a global video content operation from the ground up.
  • Collaborative remote-first culture focused on outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Opportunity to work with a distributed international team.
