  • Quality Improvement: Lead ongoing quality assurance (QA) and quality improvement (QI) initiatives in coordination with agency quality assurance staff.

  • Student Instruction: Provide field instruction and supervision to undergraduate and graduate social work students.

  • Community & Stakeholder Relations: Maintain cooperative relationships with public/voluntary agencies and represent JASA at community events and interdisciplinary conferences.

Possible Additional Responsibilities (Direct Care & Outreach):

  • Direct Clinical Care: Deliver evidence-based mental health interventions (individual, family, group) in person, virtually, or through home visits when medically necessary.

  • Satellite & Outreach Engagement: Utilize outreach strategies at older adult centers to engage participants and provide case consultations/psychoeducation to site staff.

  • Crisis Management: Participate in extended hours coverage via company phone on evenings, weekends, or holidays to respond to client crises.

  • Documentation: Complete comprehensive treatment plans, progress notes, and statistical reports within mandated timeframes using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Google/Microsoft platforms.

🎓 What You’ll Need

  • Licensure: NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Clinical Psychologist required; LCSW strongly preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years working in a mental health setting or with an older adult population.

  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of clinical supervisory experience is preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Computer literacy required, including experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with proven success in a collaborative team setting.

  • Core Values: Professional maturity and a deep appreciation for the roles of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and individual values in client care.
