We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled PrePress Platemaker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing printing plates that ensure high-quality output across various print projects. Your expertise in color management, graphic design, and prepress software will help streamline the production process, guaranteeing precision and consistency. Duties

Operate printers, digital printing equipment, and prepress machinery to produce high-quality printing plates.

Interpret production documents accurately to ensure correct plate specifications and color fidelity.

Manage color calibration and color management processes to maintain consistent color output across projects.

Perform routine mechanical adjustments and maintenance on printing and platemaking equipment to optimize performance.

Conduct quality control checks on plates for defects, accuracy, and adherence to client specifications before proceeding to print runs

Skills

Strong knowledge of prepress software applications including Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design tools.

Proficiency in color management techniques to ensure vibrant and accurate color reproduction.

Mechanical aptitude with experience operating large-format printers, industrial equipment, and press machinery.

Familiarity with print production processes such as layout design, typography, cutting, binding, and manufacturing workflows.

Ability to interpret complex production documents and technical specifications accurately.

Experience with digital printing technology, flexo press setup, and screen printing processes is highly desirable.

Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
