Job Description

We’re looking for a Corporate Social Responsibility Analyst to amplify our commitment to responsible gaming and community stewardship. In this role, you’ll dive deep into program research, assess game compliance, track performance metrics, and champion best practices that keep our CSR and RG programs at the forefront of the industry. You’ll craft engaging content for public reports and advocacy periods, support PR storytelling, and represent the lottery among key statewide and national partners. Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes research and performs evaluations to ensure continuous improvement of the lottery’s CSR and RG programs, and Play Smart programs, including analysis of quantitative and qualitative research and management of RG databases and preparation of monthly and ad hoc reports
  • Contributes to public relations and communication responsibilities for RG/CSR and Play Smart program, including creating content for the national advocacy periods, annual CSR Report, the Report to the Public, and brochures, fact sheets, white papers, talking points, media releases, blogs, and other communication duties
  • Monitors and tracks the lottery’s RG performance to ensure standards are maintained and compliance is met, preparing quarterly reports on key performance indicators for leadership, gathering, and maintaining up-to-date best practice information and data on lottery CSR and RG programs, advocating for continuous improvement
  • Produce content for internal communications, including for the lottery’s Intranet site and weekly employee newsletter, design and distribute the weekly newsletter using the lottery’s email marketing platform
  • Analyzes and assesses lottery games for compliance with RG standards, policies, and best practices
  • Write winner stories, assist in public relations functions as needed, post and email media releases and blogs
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study (communications, marketing, sustainability, public policy, public administration, social services, business, etc.) Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred
  • At least three years’ experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or corporate social responsibility, including at least one year working in the area of CSR
  • Excellent editing, writing skills, and strong public speaking skills
  • Advanced knowledge of CSR and responsible gaming programs
  • Able to understand and conceptualize data and explain data in an easy, understandable way to internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in research methodologies, including data analysis and interpretation
  • Skills in the production of written documents using Adobe Creative Cloud products and engaging presentations for internal and external groups, including the use of presentation applications such as PowerPoint and Prezi
  • Skill in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • Theoretical knowledge and practical experience working with external benchmarks and developing and analyzing surveys
  • Superior organizational and problem-solving skills, analytical mind, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Proactive mindset with a high level of drive, energy, persistence, and initiative
  • Must utilize proper judgment and decision-making in day-to-day tasks
  • Ability to take complex subject matter or information and turn it into messages any reader can understand
  • Experience in leading and managing company reports from conception to delivery
  • Experience in following brand guidelines and representing a brand, ensuring consistent messaging throughout content
  • Ability to work in teams across departments to accomplish a common goal

  • Hiring Rate: $59,263 – $67,000
