About This Position
Job Overview
New Phoenix, LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Peer Support Supervisor to lead and support our Peer Support Specialists. This role ensures that peer‑delivered services reflect recovery principles, uphold state standards, and contribute to a supportive, person‑centered environment. The Peer Support Supervisor works closely with the Clinical Director or Program Manager to strengthen peer services, promote recovery‑oriented practices, and support staff development.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise, mentor, and support Peer Support Specialists
• Review peer documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with state standards
• Facilitate group supervision, team meetings, and peer development activities
• Coordinate training, continuing education, and skill‑building opportunities
• Advocate for recovery‑oriented, person‑centered services in program planning and development
• Promote a culture of empowerment, respect, and lived‑experience leadership
Qualifications
• NC Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) required
• Supervisory or leadership experience in peer‑based or recovery‑oriented services
• Lived experience in recovery with a strong understanding of peer support values and principles
• Skilled in documentation, coaching, and supporting recovery‑based work
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and trauma‑informed care
