The Regional Vice President will provide strategic direction and operational leadership across assigned healthcare facilities and service lines. This role is accountable for financial performance, regulatory compliance, team development, quality improvement, and regional growth initiatives.
- Provide executive oversight for regional operations, including outpatient facilities, home programs, and other applicable healthcare services.
- Lead operational, clinical, technical, regulatory, and administrative strategies to support organizational goals.
- Manage regional financial performance, including budgets, labor costs, supply expenses, and overall profitability.
- Develop and oversee regional operating budgets while ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Lead new facility development initiatives from opportunity identification through opening, licensing, and operational launch.
- Partner with clinical leadership teams to maintain high standards of care, quality performance, and patient outcomes.
- Monitor facility performance against quality benchmarks and implement improvement strategies where needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to regulatory databases and external compliance systems.
- Lead and support facility administrators in maintaining compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and accreditation requirements.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and sustainability of corrective action plans to address compliance findings.
- Ensure quality improvement meetings, governing body reviews, and interdisciplinary team processes are conducted according to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business development teams and home therapy leadership to identify and execute growth opportunities.
- Support pharmacy and specialized healthcare programs to improve patient engagement and service adoption.
- Partner with Human Resources on workforce planning, labor regulations, employee relations, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and mentor regional administrators and healthcare leaders through onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Establish staffing strategies that optimize workforce utilization while meeting regulatory requirements and operational needs.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement throughout the region.
- Maintain strong relationships with physicians, medical directors, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience leading healthcare operations with a strong understanding of clinical environments, regulatory standards, financial management, and team leadership. They are skilled at managing complex operations while driving quality, growth, and organizational performance.
- Proven experience in healthcare operations leadership, preferably within dialysis, renal care, or another regulated healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-site healthcare operations with responsibility for financial and operational performance.
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance requirements, quality programs, regulatory standards, and accreditation processes.
- Experience managing operational budgets, financial targets, staffing plans, and resource allocation strategies.
- Ability to lead and develop large teams of administrators, clinical professionals, and operational staff.
- Strong knowledge of quality improvement processes, corrective action planning, and performance management.
- Experience supporting healthcare growth initiatives, including new facility development and service expansion.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with physicians, executives, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and implement improvement strategies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
