Security Guard First Shift Flex (Full-Time)

Location: Huntsville/Madison, AL

Hours: First Shift | Full-Time | Flexible Schedule

Trident Security Solutions is looking for a dependable and professional First Shift Flex Security Guardto provide security services at various client locations throughout the Huntsville/Madison area.

This is a full-time position designed to support our security operations across multiple sites. Unlike a traditional security position assigned to one location, Flex Officers will receive training at all assigned client locations to ensure they are prepared to provide coverage wherever needed.

The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, professional, and comfortable working in different environments while maintaining a strong security presence. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and can adjust to changing assignments based on operational needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide security coverage at multiple client locations throughout the Huntsville/Madison area.
• Complete required training at assigned locations to become familiar with site-specific procedures, expectations, and responsibilities.
• Fill in at different locations as needed to support staffing requirements, scheduled absences, and operational coverage.
• Patrol and secure assigned areas, including checking doors, gates, and access points.
• Monitor properties for safety hazards, maintenance issues, suspicious activity, or unauthorized entry.
• Provide clear directions and professional assistance to visitors, employees, and the public.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and administer CPR/AED when needed and properly trained.
• Inspect security equipment and report incidents, concerns, or unusual activity.
• Follow all company policies, client-specific procedures, and post orders.
• Maintain professionalism and strong communication when transitioning between locations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess a valid Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB) Guard Card or be eligible to obtain one.
• Candidates offered employment who do not currently hold a Guard Card will be responsible for completing the required application paperwork and paying the initial licensing fees. Eligible employees may receive reimbursement for these expenses in accordance with company policy.
• Must be available to work first-shift hours with flexibility in scheduling and location assignments.
• Must be willing and able to train and work at multiple client locations throughout the Huntsville/Madison area.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between assigned locations.
• Capable of walking, standing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
• Strong communication skills, dependability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different work environments and follow site-specific instructions.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS POSITION

This is a full-time, first-shift flex position, not a permanently assigned post. Guards will be trained at multiple client locations and scheduled where coverage is needed.
