About This Position

Overview

The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of Cambria Midtown Nashville. This position will be responsible for various accounting functions. This position will report to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Income Journal Management: Maintain accurate income transaction records and generate detailed revenue reports.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Manage the full AP cycle, ensuring timely vendor payments and accurate invoice processing.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Supervise AR functions, including invoicing and collections, while closely monitoring aging reports.
  • Payroll Processing
  • Month-End Close: Coordinate month-end close activities, prepare journal entries, and analyze variances to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist the GM/AGM with the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control procedures.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Payroll management experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Workday a plus
