Senior RF Engineer at AscendArc – Beaverton, Oregon

We are looking for action-oriented individuals who want to work in a hardware rich environment focused on rapid iteration. Our success will depend on your energy, commitment, skill, and creativity. Responsibilities Participate in the development of an RF printed circuit that forms the heart of a communications satellite payload, with a focus on amplifiers, filtering and PCB structures. Alongside a team of experienced engineers, collaborate with a nimble team, including design reviews, following best practices and procedures. Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in RF circuit design and development Knowledge and/or experience with some of the following:

• RF circuit design in the 7 GHz to 30 GHz range.
• Designing, manufacturing and testing analog devices such as amplifiers, filters, transmission lines, PCB structures and PCB to waveguide transitions.
• A wide range of analog RF components including LNAs, SSPAs, local oscillators, mixers, filters, drivers, power divider / combiners, switches, and attenuators.
• Common RF design tools such as HFSS, Keysight ADS and best design practices for RF PCBs
• Knowledge of antennas, satellite communications and link budget analysis is a plus but not required

BS or higher in electrical engineering.
Base Salary The base salary range for this position is $125,000-210,000. When determining an individual’s compensation, we consider several factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data, so pay for this role may vary from the amounts listed.
