2nd Shift Service Operator in Kentwood, Michigan at Corvac Composites, LLC

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Must communicate effectively with Production & Shipping Supervisor regarding service parts and shipments.
• Must have ability to coordinate and complete all service paperwork.
• Must be able to make up boxes for all shipments.
• Must be familiar with all service parts and packing/labeling instructions.
• Must order and maintain service label and supply inventories.
• Print shipping label for finished goods.

• Ability to inspect product visually.
• Ability to handle shipping paperwork.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn both internal and customer part numbers and warehouse locations.
• Exposure to lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to obtain HILO License.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS

• Follow standardized work instructions
• Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant
• Fill out all required paperwork including inventory, scrap/defective part sheets.
• Willing to participate in inventory processes monthly /daily for the plant and service components
• Make/divide labels as needed
• Ability to understand and fill out the service needs list weekly
• Communication of quality issues to management.
• Ability to train others as needed
• Other duties as assigned.
