The Tampa Bay Rays are seeking a skilled and motivated AV/IT Field Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and optimization of voice, data, and audio/visual systems throughout the stadium. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure wired and wireless voice and data networks.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot video surveillance systems, including cameras, switches, and servers.
Perform installation, testing, and maintenance of structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, Fiber, and Coax).
Relocate, remove, and reconfigure audio/visual, voice, and data equipment across the stadium as needed.
Test, diagnose, and perform minor repairs on A/V, and data equipment.
Provide responsive and professional customer service for all user requests and project tasks.
Deliver, set up, and configure A/V, and data hardware for events and operations.
Identify and isolate hardware, network, and line issues efficiently.
Conduct regular maintenance checks and system performance evaluations on all stadium A/V and network systems.
Collaborate with Help Desk and technical teams to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
Adjust and document system configurations to ensure reliability and functionality.
Configure and support conference rooms for meetings, briefings, and video conferences, ensuring all technical requirements are met.
Support the Help Desk team with assigned daily tasks, maintenance activities, and ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

Experience with A/V systems, structured cabling, and network equipment installation is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative technical team.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event days.
