About This Position

Position: Revenue Specialist

Location: Dallas, TX

Work Environment: Hybrid

Position Summary

The Revenue Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the revenue records for the Boulders Group’s six royalty entities and for processing invoices and making payments for those six entities and the other 18 entities that do not have royalty interests in the Boulders Group. This role ensures accurate entry, verification, and maintenance of revenue data within the Enertia accounting system, while also processing company invoices and collaborating with third-party contractors. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong data entry skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain revenue data with accuracy, ensuring correct interest calculations for well payments.

• Review and verify revenue records to identify and prevent discrepancies.

• Set up and maintain well information, including well numbers, royalty decks, ownership, and revenue agreements in the Enertia accounting system.

• Collaborate with third-party contractors to create CDEX files and input check details for data not entered through CDEX.

• Process company invoices promptly, ensuring proper coding, documentation, and payment approval.

• Work with internal teams to investigate and resolve revenue or payment discrepancies.

• Support the overall accounting operations of the Boulders Group through additional assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting, oil and gas accounting, or a related field preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; prior experience with Enertia preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
