Junior Project Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Project Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a solid foundation in accounting to develop their skills within a dynamic project-driven environment. The successful candidate will support project financial management, ensure accurate reporting, and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze project financial reports and statements
• Track project expenses and ensure compliance with financial policies
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to projects
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor project financial performance
• Maintain accurate and organized project accounting records
• Assist with billing and receivables management for projects
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards
• Organize and track city and contractors licenses
• Assist with preliminary notices and releases
• Assist with purchase orders
• Filing

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in project accounting or related fields
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of project management processes is a plus
