| Position Description | The Department of Statistics invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow with Professor Morgane Austern. Professor Austern’s group focuses on research in high-dimensional statistics, probability theory, machine learning theory, graph data, Stein method, ergodic theory and information theory. The appointment will be for up to two years with annual renewal based on satisfactory performance and continued availability of funding. |
| Basic Qualifications | Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, or directly related field at time of appointment is required. |
| Additional Qualifications | The successful applicant will be expected to have a solid statistical background, research experiences showing independence and innovation, and demonstrated academic writing skills. |
