Experience & Key Responsibilities:
- Present and review financial contracts with patients and/or guardians.
- Set up, maintain, and monitor patient payment plans and account balances.
- Process payments, send billing statements, and manage financial correspondence.
- Follow up on past-due accounts while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with insurance, front office, and clinical teams to ensure accurate and seamless patient accounts.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
- Experience in dental or orthodontic billing/financial coordination preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a patient-first mindset.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial discussions with professionalism and empathy.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and practice management software.
