About This Position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for individuals seeking mental health services.
• Determine eligibility and level of care based on clinical findings and established guidelines.
• Develop and participate in recovery and treatment planning with individuals and their support systems.
• Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in need of inpatient or outpatient care determination.
• Conduct follow-up contacts with individuals after a crisis to ensure continuity of care and appropriate service linkage.
• Participate in the after-hours crisis rotation, providing on-call consultation and support as needed.
• Serve on the Critical Incident & Stress Management (CISM) team to offer support services to disaster victims when required.
• Provide clinical consultation and guidance to bachelor’s-level mental health professionals and peer providers within the Center.
This is a full-time position with standard work hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
This position is directly supervised by the Mental Health Program Administrator for Admissions.
Qualifications:
•Requires a Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology from an accredited college or university.•Must either have a current license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT or Psychologist.
•Must be eligible to be certified as a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
•Must have previous mental health work experience with adult mental health consumers.
•Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License and be an insurable driver. Driving is an essential function and employees must maintain an acceptable driving record/insurability while employed.
Will be eligible for a one- and two-year increase, depending on satisfactory performance.Scan to Apply
