We are currently seeking academically strong individuals to serve as AVID Tutors, helping students strengthen their content knowledge, communication skills, and critical thinking. AVID Tutors work with small groups of students in the classroom to facilitate AVID Tutorology under the direction of a certified teacher for 3–5 hours, two times per week.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with students both in small groups and individually
• Strong academic knowledge across core content areas
• Ability to support collaborative inquiry and critical thinking in student groups
• Comfort using digital learning tools such as Google Classroom, Canvas, and other educational technology platform
