Position Summary

The Cold Food Production Associate is responsible for preparing, assembling, packaging, and portioning cold food items according to customer specifications and company quality standards. This role requires working in a refrigerated production environment, including temperatures below 30F, while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards.

Pay & Schedule

• Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Days Off: Based on seniority-driven shift bids
• Open Availability Required, including weekends and holidays as needed

Essential Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and package cold food items according to company and customer specifications
• Wash, clean, cut, and portion raw ingredients while maintaining production standards
• Follow all USDA, FDA, HACCP, and company food safety requirements
• Maintain proper food temperatures, labeling, and product quality standards
• Ensure workstations remain clean, sanitized, and organized throughout the shift
• Meet daily production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and sanitation procedures
• Accurately follow recipes, portion controls, and production instructions
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure on-time completion of production schedules
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Physical Requirement: Must be able to work in refrigerated environments with temperatures below 30F for up to 8+ hours per shift.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

• Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Open schedule availability, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in food production, food manufacturing, catering, warehouse, or kitchen environments
• Knowledge of HACCP, USDA, FDA, or food safety regulations
• Experience working in refrigerated or temperature-controlled environments
