REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager
SALARY: TBD
POSITION STATUS: Regular Full-Time NON-EXEMPT
HOURS PER WEEK: 40
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Food and Beverage Warehouse worker will assist with deliveries, requisitions, and stocking of all items for the Food and Beverage department of the casino resort. They will assist and will help monitor all orders, deliveries, and procurement for all food and beverage products for all restaurants, gift shops, bars, and banquets. This position will ensure efficiency in all deliveries, internal requisitions, and inventory. They will be responsible for accepting daily deliveries from department vendors. The Warehouse worker will ensure the accuracy of all deliveries and the quality of all items received. Will assist and support all casino areas as needed for deliveries, including resort, casino, banquets, food and beverage, gift shop, and other departments based on business demands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Accountable to all standards outlined in the We-Ko-Pa Way Casino Resort service guide.
- Supervises all warehouse operations and supports efficiency in ordering, inventory, shipments, deliveries, and internal requisitions.
- Assist to maintain all property food and beverage inventory for maximum efficiency.
- Accepts orders from all vendor deliveries and enters them into the inventory system accurately.
- Fills internal requisitions from all departments and delivers accurate orders to the various venues.
- Assists with all deliveries of products to other enterprises as needed, including tribal enterprises and government.
- Maintains a clean-as-you-go standard in the warehouse.
- Must be knowledgeable and enforce all elements of IHS health department standards.
- Must receive and have a current Food Handler's Card at all times.
- Must complete the Management Title IV and Title 31 training through Human Resources
- Assists in banquet and catering events for the department, including deliveries and off-site events.
- Must maintain and organize the warehouse daily.
- Forklift certification is required.
- Will use the forklift, pallet jacks, and service carts daily.
- Perform other related duties as required by the department.
- Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds and push or pull 100.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a State/Tribal License (including an extensive background check).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
WORK CONDITIONS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
- Bend, reach, stand, and walk for 34-66% of the workday.
- Eye/hand coordination for 34-66% of the workday.
- Exposed to hot/cold temperatures for 34-66% of the workday.
- Exposed to dust for 1-33% of the workday.
- Sit for 1-33% of the workday.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a State/Tribal License (including an extensive background check).
- While working on the casino floor, the employee is exposed to a high level of noise daily.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- One year in a warehouse, general labor, procurement, and inventory-related position preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations is required.
- Strong understanding of procurement, analysis, costing, and FIFO rotation
- Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and IHS Health Code Requirements.
- Must maintain forklift certification.
- Must be certified or obtain certification and training in Title IV and Title 31.
- Must be fully knowledgeable or attend training for the Stratton Warren procurement and inventory system.
- 4-diamond resort or casino experience preferred.
