We are actively seeking a Shift Lead (Days) to join our growing organization.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Direct work of team members, provide guidance and mentoring for all team members.
  • Achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Complete all process checklists per schedule.
  • Complete all sampling and quality checks per schedule.
  • Complete daily production records and data, as needed. This includes quality records, closing orders, inventory, and general process information. Collect information as required.
    • Identify risks to the production process and report to the Production Manager or Operations Director.
    • Train employees on the identification of risks to the production process and the proper reporting structure.
    • Perform minor mechanical maintenance in a total productive maintenance environment.
  • Work necessary overtime, as assigned by Production Manager, to ensure all required duties are completed.
  • What you need to succeed:

    • High School Diploma or GED, plus 2 years’ experience as a Lead.
  • Mechanical aptitude; problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to share knowledge with other team members.
  • Ability to set priorities.
    • Ability to self-motivate and take initiative
  • Works under general supervision.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Ability to get along with diverse personalities and cultures.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Ability to appropriately handle stress and work well under pressure.
