Department Information
AnMed Medical Center’s acute care setting offers the opportunity for growth by joining an experienced team and treating a variety of patients including orthopedics, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and gen/med surgical patients in a hospital setting. AnMed is DNV Accredited Primary Stroke Center and has a Total Joint Academy for elective joint surgeries. As a staff clinician you are part of a team who work together to maximize outcomes for patients from adolescence to geriatrics through creative, evidence-based care. The Rehab Team offers a nurturing environment including mentorship to all new hires in order to ensure competency in clinical skills. Duties & Responsibilities
Demonstrates the ability to properly address the needs of patients in respect to assessment, treatment, and care including the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patient's medical, social history and age specific needs. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide a range of occupational therapy treatments to meet the patient’s needs.Qualifications
- Current NBCOT Certification
- Current licensure with the South Carolina State Board of Occupational Therapy.
- Certification in CPR in basic life support due within 90 days of hire and maintained on an ongoing basis. When appropriate mandatory RQI requirements will be completed every 90 days if employee uses RQI.
