Location: Leesburg, VA (Hybrid)
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Government Marketing Manager
LSA Status: Exempt
Travel: Moderate (supplier events, conferences, partner meetings)

Position Overview:

Vertosoft is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Channel Marketing Specialist to support go-to-market initiatives for our growing portfolio of technology partners.

In this role, you will collaborate across marketing, sales, and partner teams to execute campaigns and events that drive awareness, engagement, and demand within the public sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career marketing professional to gain hands-on experience in channel marketing, event execution, and integrated campaign delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Execution

· Plan and execute marketing events including industry conferences, webinars, partner events, and executive roundtables

· Coordinate logistics, communications, and post-event follow-up to support pipeline growth

· Ensure a high-quality attendee experience and alignment with campaign objectives

Channel & Partner Marketing

· Support development and execution of co-marketing initiatives with software suppliers

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align campaigns with joint go-to-market strategies

· Assist in maintaining partner relationships through consistent communication and coordination

Campaign Execution & Content Development

· Support execution of integrated marketing campaigns across email, digital, and event channels

· Develop and manage marketing content including email communications, promotional materials, and sales support assets

· Ensure messaging is aligned with partner positioning and target audience needs

Sales Alignment & Enablement

· Partner with sales teams to support campaign execution and follow-up activities

· Assist in identifying target audiences and opportunities to generate qualified leads

· Contribute to initiatives that support pipeline growth and revenue generation

Market Research & Insights

· Research industry trends, competitor activity, and target audience behavior

· Provide insights to improve campaign performance and engagement strategies

Performance Tracking & Reporting

· Track and report on campaign and event performance

· Provide insights and recommendations for optimization

· Maintain organized documentation of marketing activities and results

Project Management

· Manage multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously

· Ensure timelines, deliverables, and objectives are met

· Maintain strong attention to detail across all activities

Additional Responsibilities

· Support cross-functional marketing initiatives as needed

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field

· 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships included)

· Strong organizational and project management skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Preferred

· Experience supporting events, campaigns, or partner marketing initiatives

· Familiarity with marketing platforms (e.g., marketing automation or CRM tools)

· Interest in public sector (B2G) or technology marketing
