Construction Project Manager at Beal Properties LLC – Ypsilanti, Michigan

Full Service Commercial Real Estate Firm with an in house construction company; seeks hands on, energetic, entrepreneurial team member to manage development construction projects

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Project Management

• Meet with estimating and business development staff to learn about project.
• Create completion schedule.
• Create construction budget to lock in profit.
• Determine what tools, equipment, and materials, will be required to complete the project and schedule their delivery.
• Manage self performed work.
• Manage subcontractors.
• Ability to manage several construction projects at the same time.

Estimating

• Meeting with clients and understanding their needs.
• Preparing construction estimates for client’s approval.

Individual must possess, or have the ability to learn, the following skills:

• Ability to negotiate contracts for the good of the company.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years project management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or extensive experience as construction project manager or construction estimator.
• Own vehicle that can be used for business use in exchange for gas reimbursement.
• Available to travel daily to each job location, we have job sites in Lansing, Ypsilanti, Toledo, etc.

Ideal candidate has been a construction project manager for a commercial contractor.

Compensation is competitive

Total compensation package would include a base wage, company phone, mileage reimbursement, and then health benefits and 401k after 90 days
