Behavior Technician Qualifications:

1. Passion for helping others and interest in behavior therapy.
2. High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.
3. Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills — experience in ABA therapy or as a behavior therapist assistant is a plus.

Behavior Technician Responsibilities:
A. Provide hands-on ABA therapy to children and individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
B. Implement customized treatment plans designed by a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
C. Collect and record behavioral data to track therapy progress and outcomes.
D. Support each client’s therapy goals through positive reinforcement and skill-building.
E. Collaborate with therapists, families, and team members to ensure consistent, quality therapy sessions.
