The role!
As a Senior Contract Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining nimble's managed care contracting strategy across multiple states. In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the development and optimization of our managed care network.
On a typical day, you will:
- Manage and meticulously maintain accurate files for each pending and executed managed care contract, providing timely updates as required to ensure the integrity of our network
- Serve as a liaison between nimble Solutions and insurance carriers to resolve billing discrepancies and other contractual issues on behalf of our clients
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize resource allocation, enhance efficiency, and capitalize on reimbursement opportunities, all while minimizing costs
- Proactively evaluate and negotiate managed care contracts with a variety of stakeholders, including health plans, hospitals/healthcare systems, medical groups/IPAs, government programs, and other payers
- Lead contract negotiations for multiple million-dollar outpatient facilities and physician group agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
- Conduct thorough market analysis and benchmarking to inform negotiation strategies and identify emerging opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Finance, Legal, and Operations, to align managed care initiatives with organizational objectives
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain nimble's competitive edge
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, a related field, or equivalent managed care contracting experience
- 3+ years of experience in a managed care environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong decision-making abilities, with a knack for devising creative solutions to complex problems
- Detail-oriented mindset and adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software applications
- Team player with a collaborative spirit and a commitment to excellence
