Job Description

Sager Electronics is hiring a Buyer/Planner for our new corporate location which will be in Norwell, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career professional looking to grow in purchasing and supply chain management.

This position has a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely. Fully remote applicants will not be considered.

In this role, you will partner closely with our Product Managers to support key purchasing, inventory, and operational functions. This position is to gain experience and build a foundation for advancement, potentially toward a future Product Manager role.

What You’ll Do:

  • Procure products from assigned suppliers to meet demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Manage inventory planning and pipeline for low‑ to medium‑complexity product lines.
  • Proactively expedite open supplier orders to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Maintain and update supplier order reports and purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to align inventory levels with sales forecasts and customer needs.
  • Execute stock rotation processes in accordance with supplier agreements.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate supplier part number data in PeopleSoft.
  • Partner with internal teams, including Accounts Payable and Warehouse Operations, to resolve issues requiring support.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • 1–2 years of related professional experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of daily transactions accurately and efficiently.

  • Annual Total Compensation Range: $51,100 – 64,800

    Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level. Final base salary details will be confirmed at the time of offer.
