About This Position

Job Title: CNC Programmer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for precision machining operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in multi-axis milling machining processes, CAD/CAM software, and blueprint interpretation, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling machining
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
  • Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machine setups.
  • Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production teams to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform test runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain program documentation and revision control

    • Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Gibbs, SolidWorks are highly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of G-code
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multi-axis machining (3, 4, or 5-axis).
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Previous experience in a high-precision or high-volume production environment.
  • Experience with ERP system (Epicor) and Gibbs CAM software is highly preferred
  • GD&T knowledge is a big plus
