Personal Trainer at Thibodaux Regional Health System – Thibodaux, Louisiana

The purpose of the Personal Trainer is to provide members/clients an individual training program
that is tailored to the needs, wants and desires of each client; based on their health history, test
results and fitness goals.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university in a health-related, exercise science,
kinesiology, or physical education major required.
A current NCCA accredited certification (i.e., ACSM CPT, ACSM HFS, NSCA CPT, NSCA
CSCS, NASM CPT, ACE, etc.) is required.
CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
Prior work experience or internship in the health and fitness industry, preferably in a medically
oriented specialty such as: athletic training, cardiac rehabilitation, dietetics or physical therapy
preferred.
The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to scheduling appointments for the
members.
