Job DescriptionAbout USIPS is a behavioral healthcare company that specializes in outpatient mental health and substance misuse treatment for adults in socioeconomically diverse populations in Dallas, Ellis, and Kaufman Counties. IPS specializes in the provision of outpatient clinical services. Using empirically validated and evidence-based treatment, IPS strives to ensure the highest level of care for our clients. IPS’ mission is to positively affect change by offering clinical and educational services that assist in reducing adult offender recidivism.
IPS is seeking individuals that are passionate about helping those that struggle with mental illness, substance misuse, homelessness, and forensically involved clientele. We are currently seeking a Therapist to join our team! Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe Therapist's primary role is to provide therapeutic interventions to patients, including psycho-social rehabilitation, skill building, linkage to community resources, rapport building, and relapse prevention planning. As part of the multidisciplinary team, the therapist will: Engage with clients in clinic based settings. Conduct psycho-educational sessions in both individual and group settings.Collaborate with other team members to improve patient symptomatology Participate in treatment team meetings Complete treatment planning and treatment plan reviews Complete all clinical documentation within appropriate time frames Utilize effective time management to ensure achievement of weekly goals and expectations. Required SkillsAbility to work in a fast-paced high-volume clinicAbility to utilize evidence-based practicesWork as part of a multidisciplinary teamEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to engage professionally with clientele, staff, and external collaboratorsExcellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientationComplex problem-solving abilities and solution-focused orientationEffective time management and coordination skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentialityData Entry, Quality Management Control, and External CommunicationProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google SuitesProficient typing skills Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Requirements/Qualifications
Experience with group facilitation, therapy or case management. Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related human services fieldReliable transportation
Licenses and Certifications: LPC, LCSW, LCDC- Required Schedule: Monday- Friday : 8:00a – 5:00p IN PERSONJob Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.60 - $28.85 per hour (Depending on licensure)
